“YERKIR” UNION's APPEAL TO INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY WITH RESPECT TO THE
RECENT EVENTS IN AKHALKALAKI

On July 17, 2008 a blast took place in the town of Akhalkalaki, regional center of the Akhalkalaki district of the Samtskhe-Javakheti region of Georgia, near the house of the Chief of Police Samvel Petrosyan. There were no casualties.

Immediately after the blast, the local police forces initiated an unprecedented wave of arrests within the ranks of the activists of the “United Javakhk Democratic Alliance” the local political movement. Thus, up to 15 activists were brutally arrested, some were fiercely beaten. The police also entered the building of the Youth radio station which belonged to the same political movement. For this purpose, the entrance door was crushed and internal doors and windows were damaged. No arms were found however on the premises.

On July 17, around 8:00 p.m., some 40 persons regrouping both police forces and civilians, stormed into the house of the local activist, Gurgen
Shirinyan. During this operation, Gurgen’s father was fiercely beaten and one local policeman, Arthur Berudjanyan, was shot dead. Police sources
declared that Gurgen Shirinyan fled, while his father and aunt were arrested.

On July 18, “United Javakhk Democratic Alliance” issued a statement describing both the blast and the incidents that followed as provocations
aiming the destruction of their organization. The statement required from the authorities the holding of an impartial investigation.

In the afternoon Of July 20, another policeman - Armen Gabrielyan was shot dead. According to a declaration on behalf of the authorities, the dead
policeman had… committed suicide.At 4:00 am on July 21, armed and masked Georgian special forces intruded the house of the “United Javakhk Democratic Alliance” political movements’ leader, Vahagn Chakhalyan, and arrested all the members of his family. At 5:00 am, Vahagn Chakhalyan’s mother was set free, but he, his father and his adolescent brother were detained in Akhaltsikhe, the center of the province.

Later on they were taken to Tbilisi, where they continue to remain in custody up to now. Chakhalyan’s, his father’s and brother’s preliminary detention was immediately extended to two months.

Parallel to these events, the police stormed once again the building of the Youth radio station, but this time… arms and ammunition were “found” and
confiscated.

Currently, authorities keep under arrest Gurgen Shirinyan’s father (Harutyun Shirinyan), Gurgen Shirinyan’s aunt (Karine Shirinyan), as well as Vahagn
Chakhalyan, Vahagn Chakhalyan’s father (Rouben Chakhalyan) and Vahagn Chakhalyan’s brother (Armen Chakhalyan). The building of the “Youth Radio”
is closed and sealed, all computers and other furniture are confiscated.

On July 23, “Yerkir” Union of NGOs for Repatriation and Settlement, in collaboration with its Georgian chapter “Yerkir-Georgia”, has sent a fact
finding mission to Akhalkalaki; including a cameraman, a lawyer and members of the UNGO. The delegation interviewed relatives and neighbors of the
detained persons, as well as policemen. The Main places where the incidents occurred were also visited and filmed.

The following facts were noted:

1. All arrests were conducted with flagrant violations. None of the arrested persons was informed of his legal rights, his legal status, or of his possibilities for self- protection.
2. Many of the arrested were beaten both at the time of the arrest and during the detention period.
3. Detained persons were interrogated, (some, for several hours) however written reports on the interrogations were not kept.
4. During the search of Gurgen Shirinyan’s house, the police has “discovered” ammunition, however no external witnesses were present to
verify and register the facts.
5. An official search warrant was not presented to the father of Gurgen Shirinyan.
6. The police officers used degrading treatment toward Gurgen Shirinyan’s relatives, and in particular, Gurgen Shirinyan’s father was slapped and then
brutally beaten.
7. Under the pretext that an investigation has to ascertain as to whom the discovered ammunitions belong, Gurgen Shirinyan’s father and aunt were
arrested and detained without any warrant.
8. During Chakhalyan’s house search, arms and ammunitions were “found” and caused the arrest of Chakhalyan and his relatives. However no external
witnesses participated to the search or noted the results of the search.
9. Neither Vahagn Chakhalyan, nor any of the members of his family were shown a search warrant.
10. The arrest of the members of Chakhalyan's family was accompanied with violence, Rouben, Vahagn and Armen Chakhalyan were beaten and threatened.
11. Chakhalyan’s mother (Gayane Chakhalyan) was also arrested. She was questioned for more than a hour, but no written record was kept of her
interrogation. She was threatened and freed without any explanation.
12. Armen Chakhalyan, who is a minor, was interrogated without the presence of his parents or of any impartial adult.
13. In addition to the above mentioned persons who continue to still remain in police custody, numerous other persons were arrested and interrogated, they were all threatened, many were beaten, but all were released withoutany explanation and with no written record of the on-going interrogations which concerned them personally.

The “United Javakhk” Democratic Alliance” political movement participated in the local elections in October 2006, in which they got about 30% of the
Akhalkalaki district votes and took 3 seats in Akhalkalaki sakreboulo (local self-governing body). Yet, the movement rejected the election results as far
as it was concerned, dubbing those results as a flagrant fraud. The leaders of this political movement, and especially Chakhalyan, struggles for a long
time now for the fulfillment of the Armenian minority rights. Based on this fact, “Yerkir” Union strongly believes that Chakhalyan’s arrest and
subsequent detention were purely motivated by political reasons.

“Yerkir” Union considers the recent incidents in Akhalkalaki to be the Georgian government’s unwillingness to solve minority issues, preferring
instead to resort to brutal force to suppress expressions of legitimate complaint.

“Yerkir” Union therefore calls upon the Georgian government:
- to guarantee a fair and unbiased investigation of the recent incidents in Akhalkalaki,
- to immediately release from detention all relatives of Vahagn Chakhalyan and Gurgen Shirinyan,
- to immediately investigate all human rights’ abuses which took place during the recent incidents in Akhalkalaki, and in particular, the
human rights’ abuses which occurred during the arrests, the interrogations and the detentions,
- to hold a fair and impartial investigation of the assassination of the two ethnic Armenian policemen,
- to guarantee Vahagn Chakhalyan’s rights for a fair and impartial trial.

“Yerkir” Union also calls upon foreign missions in Georgia, international organizations and institutions, international and local human rights
organizations and Georgia’s human rights public defender, Mr. Subari
- to recognize Vahagn Chakhalyan and all his detained relatives, as well as Gurgen Shirinyan’s detained relatives as political prisoners
- to take appropriate steps for monitoring the conditions ofdetention of all the political prisoners, to secure their right not to be
subjected to torture and ill-treatment any more, and to assure their right to be treated with humanity and with respect for the inherent dignity of the
human person.

“Yerkir” Union urges the Georgian mass-media to respect the right of the Georgian and international communities to be informed and to break the
information blockade around this case by providing objective and full-length coverage.

“Yerkir” Union also expresses its concern about the alarming socio-political and psychological impact which will have the recent incidents on the
Armenian minority of Javakheti. We call upon the Georgian government, as well as upon the international and local organizations and institutions to
take appropriate and efficient steps for eliminating the possible negative impacts of these recent critical developments.

В связи с последним кризисом в Джавахке я по ходу дела отслеживал комментарии по данному вопросу в блогах и на форумах, и вот что меня крайне неприятно поразило- вновь пышным цветом расцвел комплекс "русского следа"- т.е. комплекс связки каждого обострения ситуации в Джавахке с происками русских спецслужб и соответственно призывы быть крайне осторожными, не поднимать шум, и т.д. и т.п. Оставим в стороне то обстоятельство, что люди говрящие о следе России в подавляющем большинстве своем в душе те же "русофилы", денно и ношно мечтающие чтоб русские наконец-то показалли грузинам где раки зимуют, и со своими русскими коллегами по случаю поднимающие тосты за возрождение России-матушки.
Оставим это в стороне. Для меня важно другое- вот эти самые люди так красиво и гладко рассуждающие о "русском следе" когда-либо были в Джавахке? Хоть в какой-либо деревеньке? Беседовали с простыми людьми, видели и чувствовали проблемы с которыми эти люди сталкиваются? Уверен, что нет!
Ладно, не хотите или не можете поехать в Джавахк- ваше дело, но читать-то вы, надеюсь, умеете? Так почитайте
Вот доклад Крайзис груп (они те ещё агенты Кремля) по нацменьшинствам Грузии- есть и русский и английский варианты. Пройдитесь по их рекомендациям
Или ознакомьтесь с доклатами Европейского Центра по проблемам меньшинств по Джавахку и Цалке (видимо, и там сидят русские и мутят воду). Или зайдите на сайт Комиссии по правам человека ООН и продитесь по докладам и рекомендациям по Грузии. Или просто дайте поиск по гуглу на Armenian minority of Georgia и пройдитесь по ссылкам.

Проблем много! Проблемы использования языка, перехода преподавания в школах гуманитарных предметов на грузинский язык, единых госэкзаменов на грузинском, отсутствия местного университета, аттестации директоров, "спорных" церквей, участия в управлении, ксенофобии и дискриминации и т.д.. Все эти проблемы приводят к кому, что армяне Джавахка и Грузии эмигрируют. Видимо, все эти проблемы русские и спровоцировали- специально, чтоб армяне от невыносимой жизни такой восстание подняли! Так нет, не получается, армяне почему-то упорно не восстают, а эмигрируют...

А теперь зайдите на сайт Совета Европы и прочитайте текст "Европейской Рамочной Конвенции о защите нацменьшинств". Призадумайтесь- это обязательства взятые Грузией и которые она должна соблюдать под угрозой санкций! ( +read more... )

Dear compatriots,

The democratic alliance "United Javakhk", a grassroot NGO advocating for human rights of Javakhk Armenians, was attacked and crashed without any solid legal grounds by the Georgian special police units in the city of Akhalkalak.

Here is the brief chronology of events:

July 17 July 17 - 18 July 18 - 19 July 20 July 20 – 21

An explosion near the house of Akhlkalak chief of police Samvel Petrosyan. This is allegedly a provocation set up by the Georgian special police units, looking for an excuse to start harassing local Armenian public initiative organizations. Attack on the house of Gurgen Shirinyan member of "United Javakhk" alliance, head of local Armenian Scouts Movement) by the Georgian special police units with the support of local police. Shirinyan's relatives were severely beaten. A local policeman of Armenian origin, Arthur Berujanyan, was killed under suspicious circumstances during the attack. Weapons found at Shirinyan's dwelling were allegedly planted by the Georgian special police unit to make up the case against him. Shirinyan went on a hide-out to the local mountains. Random arrests of "United Javakhk's" members in the city of Akhalkalak. Warrantless/unsanctioned searches in their houses, etc. Killing of yet another Akhalkalaki police officer of Armenian decent, Armen Gabrielyan, under unspecified circumstances. He was last seen entering an abandoned house in the outskirts of Akhalkalak accompanied by the Georgian special police unit. It is alleged the this Armenian police officer was eliminated as a witness of the killing of the first Armenian police officer by the Georgian special police unit during the attack on Gurgen Shininyan's house. Arrest of the "United Javakhk" leader – Vahagn Chakhlyan and his family members (brother Armen Chakhalyan, father Rouben Chakhalyan). His family members were verbally attacked, humiliated and then were severely beaten. His house was searched without any formal legal ground (no sanction from relevant authorities) and without maintenance of the due procedure.

At the current moment:

• Over 500 Georgian special police officers are stationed in Javakhk region of Georgia (this is in addition to the regular police force);
• Over 20 members of "United Javakhk were thrown to jail without due course/legal procedures;
• The Georgian operatives, too, control over local internet provider and independent radio station. A number of other local media outlets are shut down, which effectively limits freedom of the media and access of the general public to information; the local population is effectively under information blockade;
• The office of "United Javakhk" had been illegally searched and weapons were "found" (allegedly all planted by the Georgian police units);
• The population of Akhlkalak and the entire region is under the constant threat of a illegal arrests, beatings and other mass violations of human rights;
• Armenian and Georgian media and state authorities do not comment the situation.

Call your local Armenian grassroot organizations and ask them to act - issue statements, write letters to international human rights organizations, spread the word about the injustice in Javakhk etc.

Protest mass arrests, beatings and killings in the region.

Demand Georgian authorities to free the arrested "Unified Javakhk" members, who in fact are harassed and arrested for their political views and must be seen as political prisoners.

Demand adequate transparent investigation of the matter by combined Armenian-Georgian task force and/or by independent and trusted international experts.

Կոռնելիի մոտ Նարջանը հետաքրքիր հարց տվեց: թվում էր, թե դրա մասին այնքան է խոսվել, որ ամեն ինչ պարզ է: բայց արի ու տես, խելացի, ադեկվատ մարդու մոտ դեռ նման հարցեր են ծագում, դեռ չի հասկացվում: ուզում եմ այդ հարցը առանձնացնել, պատասխանն էլ:

ох уж эти армяне!

только вернулась с ужина с ооочь интересными людьми (имен назвать не стану, да и рассказ не про них). успешно ассимилированный, изменивший арм фамилию на что-то без "ян" немецкий армянин, у кого отец иранский армянин и его подруга, немка, которая еще при советах десятки лет жила в армении, работала экскурсоводом, а теперь важных людей или бизнесменов сопровождает в армению, налаживает для них деловые контакты там... настолько влюбленная в армению и армян, что везде ищет (и находит!) армянское. так, рассказывает, как-то сопровождала группу бизнесменов в венецию, и водила их по армянским следам, св. лазарь и все дела. к концу дня сопутники не выдержали и спросили а есть ли в венеции что-либо итальянское?!:)))))) та же история в москве:Д не буду спать, пока не расскажу что-то из их рассказов, а то забудется-потеряется.

вы знали, что Герберт фон Караян карабахский армянин? или что армянский писатель Костан Зарян передавал немецкие деньги Ленину, финансировал революцию? (гетин@ мтнер, эд бан@ чанер!!) нет?:) тогда вам под кат.

они рассказывали про талантливых армян в германии, речь зашла и о караяне, что у них друг, который знал брата Караяна. они встретились в какой-то лечебнице в германии, т.к. оба на -ян, нашли друг-друга, заговорили на родном о родном. ну, как везде, когда 2 армянина встречаются. и этот друг рассказал, что они карабахские армяне (когда армяне встречаются, первым делом спрашивают "вортехи хай ес?" т.е. откуда корни), что семья переселилась еще в 18ом веке в европу. и что у него еще есть брат, Герберт Караян, и он директор (на немецком дирижер), но тогда никто не знал никакого герберта караяна. через много лет все знают всемирно известного дирижера Герберта фон Караяна, но он уже был ни армянином, ни карабахским.

потом за весь вечер возвращались к этому армянину, наш иранский-германский армянин постоянно цитировал его, рассказывал из его приключений.. было настолько увлекательно, что попросила побольше рассказать о нем. уникальнейший человек!!!!! мир должен знать о нем, постараюсь восстановить лоскуты рассказов о нем.

завут Ваге (Vahe) Гойумтч*ян (за правописание фамилии не выручаюсь, что-то незнакомое), родился где-то в 1910году в Цюрихе, но потом семя вернулась в западную арменииюю, и ребенком чудом спасся от геноцида. отец был знаменитым армянским юмористом в Костантинополе, звали Арандзар. мать была немкой, официанткой в отеле, где остановился отец, там познакомились, поженились, потом она с мужем поехала в его страну и стала жертвой геноцида армян. родителей Ваге потерял рано, мать умерла, когда ему было 5 лет, а когда было 7, умер и отец. и сам бы не выжил геноцида, если бы не его дядя в Алепо (Halep), у кого он и приютился. потом до конца жизни из германии он каждый год в день встречи своих родителей ездил в цюрих, сел в ресторане отеля, где они встретились, заказывал напитки на троих, и пил за троих в одиночестве. ритуал. так и не женился, братьев-сестер-детей не было, был одиночкой по жизни.

в юности 4 года он жил в ерусалеме, помнил, как в те годы ерусалем посетил Джемал Паша, сказал, что стены грязные, помыть. и еще посетил армянскую патриархию ерусалема, спросил чем может помочь, а наш тогдашний патриарх Орhманян Вахакиа (пишу по памяти) ответил типа "джансахутйун"/пайцарапайлутйун, т.е. литераллы ничего не попросил. а Джемал Паша потом подарил им много риса..

потом он много ездил по миру, много раз был в советской армении, но постоянным местом жительства была германия. лично знал много великих, начиная с Чаренца и кончая Гитлером. был сс-овцем, потом после войны работал с американцами (т.е. типа анти-сс-овец), а как крутил все это - сплошные хохмы:)

армянам наверное интереснее всего его связи с армянскими писателями. с Чаренцом встретились впервые в Венеции, подружились. тогда Чаренц покупил в венеции инкнахос ручку, потом той самой ручкой писал свой "еркир наири". эта ручка, говорит, лежит в музее чаренца. Ваге рассказывал, что в венеции Чаренц ему очень нравился, был очень вежливым, учтивым со всеми, цивильным, никогда не ругался.. он Ваге очень нравился. а когда он встретил чаренца в армении, это был уже другой человек, грубый, невоспитанный, много ругался... был просто невыносим. еще он знал историю про то, как КГБ заставили чаренца шпионить в мюнхене..

Знал он и Аветика Исаакяна, но он ему ужааасно не нравился, говорил очень плохой был человек. кстати, исаакян не хотел возвращаться в армению. это Мхитаряны заставили его поехать в армению..

и еще истории со встреч с наири заряном, Агароняном, Костаном Заряном (встретились в париже..)... но уже усталая, засыпаю, потом вспомню, добавлю.

еще у него была книжка, где знаменитые люди писали ему пару строк и подписывались. в этой книжке были так же строки руководителя дашнаков Микаеля Варданяна. эту книжку, фотографии и записи он завещал армянскому патриархату в Кёлне, но они их потеряли:( (мой знакомый пытался попросить у них, документировать, но они не смогли найти..) и умер он в одиночестве в доме престарелых, было ему за 90...

*он часто говорил, что в германии чувствовал себе армянином, а в армении немцем:) //so familiar!!!

Այդպես էլ մնացի վանաձոր, գոնե մի քիչ պատմեմ այստեղի տրոմադրություններից:
Ինչպես ամենուր, այստեղ էլ ժողովուրդը բաժանված է լևոնականների ու հակա- լևոնականների: դժվարանում եմ գնահատել որ բանակն է ավելի մեծ, համենայն դեպս իմ շուրջ ավելի շատ լևոնականներ են, ավելի ճիշտ հակա-սերժական հակա-ղարաբաղական, միայն մեր տանը մենակ եմ երեք հոգու դեմ:Ճ բայց ինչն է այստեղ հանգստացնում, որ ոչ մի լևոն-սերժի համար այստեղ ժողովուրդը իրար դեմ դուրս չի գա, իրար վրա ձեռք չեն բարձրացնի: կկռվենք թեժ ամեն ինչ իրար կասենք, կարտահայտվենք, հետո էլ դե լավ, գնանք իրար հետ հաց ուտենք կամ նառդի-շախմատ խաղանք: մի լավ հարևան ունենք, գալիս, լավ հումորով ձեռ է առնում լևոնականներին, մերոնց հոգիների հետ խաղում, հետո նստում են նառդի քցվում: էլ չեմ հետևում նառդի խաղալուց է՞լ են “քաղաքականությունից” խոսում:ՃՃՃ բայց մտերիմ, “դուշեվնի” հարաբերությունները չեն տուժում: մարդկային հարաբերությունները “քաղաքականությունից” ու լտպ-սս-ից կարևոր են: ժողովուրդն այստեղ շատ հանգիստ է, հեչ ագրեսիվ չէ, երբեք լոռուց հեղափոխություններ չսպասեք: չգիտեմ էլ, դա լավ է, թե՞ վատ:

Լևոնականների արգումենտացիան.
- լտպ-ին չեն սիրում, բայց այլընտրանք չկար, միայն նա կարող էր ղարաբաղյան կլանից ազատել երկիրը
- բա մանուկյա՞նը:
- մանուկյանը կռիս յախիդնի մարդ ա: մենակ տեորետիկ ա, երկիր կառավարող չի:
- բա դաշնա՞կը:
- դաշնակները ռկ-սս-ին ծախված են: ապացույց – ընտրություններից առաջ սս-ական հանձնաժողովի անդամներին զգուշացրել են, որ դաշնակների մարդկանցից չվախենան, չեն խանգարելու:
- եթե նույնիսկ այլընտրանք չկար, նորմալ մարդը հայաստանում լտպ-ին չպետք է ընտրեր:
- իսկ իրենց մեկ ա, թե ով կլինի, մենակ թե ղարաբաղցիներից ազատեն երկիրը: լտպն միակ ուժն է, որ կարող է դա անել: փրկիչը:

ղարաբաղյան կլանի դեմ փաստերը.
- հոկտեմբերի 27-ի տերակտը
- կուտակած հարստությունները. Հայաստանում բոլոր բիզնեսներից փայ ունեն:
- երկրի ամբողջ բիզնեսը ու կարևոր պաշտոնները ղարաբաղցիների ձեռքին են:
- 90-ականների սկզբից հայաստան 15000 ղարաբաղցիներ են եկել ու հիմա բոլորը տեղավորված են իշխանության բոլոր մակարդակներում, փողոտ բիզնեսներում, հայաստանցիներին են չեն թողում շունչ քաշեն, գործ անեն: պօնաեխալի:
- Ղարաբաղյան շարժումը սկսելուց ուզում էին արցախը հայաստանին միացնեն, բայց էս ՞՞՞՞՞՞՞՞ ղարաբաղցիները հայաստանը միացրին ղարաբաղին, հայաստանում իշխանությունը, փողերը գրավեցին: պետք է հիմա համ ղարաբաղից ազատվեն, համ ղարաբաղցիներից:
- Իրականում ղարաբաղցիները հայ չեն, այսինքն էթնիկապես, ուրիշ ազգեիր հետ խառնված եսիմ ինչեր են, ամենաշատը թուրքերի հետ են խառնված, դրա համար էլ ղարաբաղցիներին “թուրք” են անվանում:
- Ու ընդհանրապես մարդ չեն. թուրքն անգամ ծարավ մարդուն ջուր կտար, իսկ ղարաբաղցիներիները չեն տալիս: պատմում են ղակաբաղ ծառայող զինվորների պատմացները, որ ամառը ծարավ են լինում, տեղում ապրող ղարաբաղցիների հայաթներում ջուրը հոսում է, բայց խեղճ երեխեքին չեն տալիս, ջուրը վրաները ծախում ենԷԷԷԷԷԷ հավատս չի գալիս, անհնարին բան է, բայց հակառակն ապացուցել չեմ կարող, այդ պահին արցախ չեմ եղել, չեմ տեսել, չգիտեմ... կարևորն այն է, որ մարդիկ հավատում են նման պատմություններին ու հակառակը համոզելն անհնար է: ու ընդհանրապես, ասում են ղարաբաղում շատ վատ են վերաբերվում այնտեղ ծառայող հայաստանից զինվորներին, համ բնակչությունը, համ օֆֆիցեռները: ու դա ապացուցող լիքը պատմություններ ունեն: ու ընդհանրապես, "ինչի՞ պետք է մեր երեխեքը դրանց համար ծառայեն, դրանց պաշտպանեն????" բա..

և այլն… ուղղակի շոկի մեջ եմ: չգիտես էլ, ի՞նչ պատասխանես նման զառանցանքներին: բանակում ծառայած եղբայրս ասում է, երանի թե ադրբեջանցիները հարձակվեն, ղարաբաղը գրավեն: ու եթե հնարավորություն ունենար, հենց էս պահին կհանձներ, կազատվեր էդ անտեր ղարաբաղից: գժանոց:
Կոդավորված միֆեր են շրջում ժողովրդի մեջ, աղբյուրը դժվար չէ գուշակել, ու ամենաահավորն այն է, որ անկեղծորեն հավատում են դրանց, -> արցախի, արցախցիների դեմ ատելությունը անընդհատ սնուցվում է: չգիտեմ որտեղ, բայց լոռեցիների մեջ երբեք ուրշ մարզերի նկատմամբ ատելություն չի եղել: դե, իհարկե, աբարանցիների մասին անեկդոտներ էինք պատմում, երևանցիներին “պարսիկ” մեկ-մեկ անվանում, բայց առանց որևէ ատելության: ղարաբաղցիներին չէի ասի, թե շատ սիրում էին, բայց միշտ հարգանքով, համակրանքով էին վերաբերվում: ղարաբաղցիները վերջին մի տարում չեն հայտնվել հայաստանում, հատկապես, իշխանությունում, բիզնեսում: հակակրանքի առիթն էլ վերջին տարում չի առաջացել.. 2005ի աշնանը մեկ ամբողջ ամիս հայաստան էի, մեծ մասամբ վանաձոր, մի բան օդում լիներ, կտեսնեի, կլսեի… ինչպե՞ս կարողացան կուտակված դժգոհությունը իշխանություններից, ընդհանրապես կյանքից ուղղել արցախի ու արցախցիների դեմ???? Հիմա ամեն ինչի մեղավորը ղարաբաղցիներն են, ու ղարաբաղյան կոնֆլիկտը: ռկ-ն ու սս-ը վաղ թե ուշ կգնան, բայց բոլոր ղարաբաղցիների վրա ընդհանրացված ատելությունից ինչպե՞ս պետք է բուժենք.. եթե երկրի ներսում մի ռեգիոն լիներ, կարելի էր շատ չանհանգստանալ, համարել կենցաղային հարց: բայց սահմանային, սպառնալիքի տակ, անընդհատ պաշտպանության կարիք ունեցող ռեգիոն է, արդեն ամբողջ երկրի անվտանգության հարց է: հասարակական կարծիքի հետ լուրջ, զգույշ աշխատանք պետք է տարվի..

Հումորով ավարտեմ: այստեղ ամենասիրված անեկդոտը, որ արդեն տաս անգամ պատմել են. Ալիև մեծը իլխամին երազ է գալիս, հարցնում ո՞նց եղավ ղարաբաղի հարցը, դեռ հետ չի՞ վերցրել, ղարաբաղցիների հախից եկել: իլխամչիկը պատասխանում է “պապ ջան, ամբողջ հայաստանով երկու հատ ղարաբաղցու հախից չեն կարողանում գան, ես ո՞նց մի ամբողջ ղարաբաղի հախից գամ”:

Why ltp actually hurt the opposition cause

why some "young-armenian-democrats" consider their own duty to exaggerate already emergency situation, spread disinformation, raise unrest between armenians, diasporians, showing our country to "abroad" the worst way?! why they don't understand they're acting against own country & nation? why isn't armenian statehood the biggest value for them? what they aim after all?!

after yesterday's tragic day & sleepless night morning letters made me really sick. armenian (esp diasporian) mailinglists full of hystery, calls for action against i didn't really get what, armenian government? & lies, lies, leis... what could ppl far from armenia think, feel?! why those bastards manipulate with ppl's feeling, drive them unthought actions? in a german mailing list smb writes that yerevan streets are full of dead bodies, & that he has personally talked to kocharyan's bodyguard & he has told kocharyan ordered to be ready to shoot at folk.... made myself to answer:

die Strasse sind nicht voll von Leichen, bitte kein disinformation hier ausbreiten, die Lage in yerevan ist auch ohne das dramatisch.

zwischen die riots es waren bewaffnete leute (general Manvel's, oder erkrapah leute), die auf die Polizisten Feuer geöffnet haben, dagegen hat polizei nur ins Luft gefeuert, sonst würden auch die unbewaffnete Protestlerne verletzt.
die ganze nacht hat ein teil der riots die Geschäfte ins Zentrum geraubt, etwa 50 autos auf die stressen zerstört, gebrannt, die Polizei könnte nicht stoppen oder kaum versucht hat. es gibt viele verletzten, beides zwischen die Zivilisten und die Polizei, und man spricht nur über 1 gestorbene.

seit gestern ist yerevan in Ausnahmezustand. was wir jetzt brauchen ist Ruhe und Frieden. kein mehr Provokationen, bitte.

Die Strassen sind voll von Leichen, nach dem Robert Kocharyan Ausnahmezustand Befohlen hat.

Grade habe ich von einem Kocharyans Bodyguards-Leute erfahren, dass der Kocharyan denen befohlen hat, sich bereit halten, um noch kritischen Situation auf den Bürger erschießen.

Ich fordere Sie alle, gegen blutigen Gewalt und Unterdrückung Ihre Stimme erheben. Unser Landsleute brauchen unsere Unterstützung."

Заявление-Обращение в связи с событиями в Ереване 1-2 марта 2008 года

В конце февраля - в начале марта 2008 г. Левон Тер-Петросян, террористическая организация Армянское Общенациональное Движение (АОД) и примкнувшие к ним мелкие экстремистские партии и криминальные группировки предприняли попытку вооруженного государственного переворота в Армении. Имеются человеческие жертвы как среди сил правопорядка, так и среди введенных манипуляциями в заблуждение граждан. Армянской столице нанесен значительный материальный ущерб, а имидж Армении на международной арене непоправимо пострадал.

Это уже вторая по счету попытка Тер-Петросяна и террористической организации АОД вооруженного захвата власти. Первая была предпринята в 1996 году, после проигранных Тер-Петросяном президентских выборов, когда он вновь пролил армянскую кровь ради президентского кресла. Анализ событий 1996 и 2008 года не оставляет сомнений в том, что идя на тягчайшие государственные преступления, Тер-Петросян и АОД выполняют заказ внешних антиармянских сил, конечной целью которых является окончательное уничтожение армянской государственности.

Рецидив попытки государственного переворота 2008 года стал возможен благодаря тому, что преступления Тер-Петросяна и АОД не удостоились должной политической и правовой оценки со стороны руководства Армении и политических сил страны. Как граждане Армении, мы призываем руководство страны предпринять все самые жесткие меры, предусмотренные законом, для того, чтобы привлечь к ответственности государственного преступника Левона Тер-Петросяна и АОД. Они должны предстать перед судом и понести законное наказание за все свои преступления.

Мы также обращаемся к нашим согражданам, независимо от их политических воззрений. Вспомните историю Армении – как, в каких условиях происходила потеря армянских земель и армянской государственности. Народ, который не уважает собственное государство, обречен потерять его вновь. На этот раз навсегда.

only in armenia the "intellectual", who has been in tribunes of mln's demonstrators & got the power only due to this national wave, will force a bloody crackdown of folks' demonstrations.

only in armenia the monster will stay unpunished & be back & play a victim, an opposition, a fighter (the only one in horizon) for democracy & liberalism. & with such cynicism discredit the ideas of democracy & liberalism.

only in armenia years after his bloody crackdown the intellectual-monster will again use mass-demonstrations & again be back to its tribunes & from there criticize everything & everybody, the current powers, the current opposition, complain of limiting his freedom of speech, of prosecutions.

& only in armenia ppl will sincerely believe in him & go after him. again.

how? koz ppl have short memory? what's this? a mass-amnesia? is it curable?
